William is an experienced Industrial Psychologist and Organisational Development Consultant. He has successfully managed client relationships since 1987.
William is a strategic thinker with very strong conceptual skills. He is able to take the complex and make it simple enough to be communicated dynamically. He successfully managed client relationships and briefings for more than 20 years in the field of Organisational Development, Training and Development, Assessment Centers and Group and Team Processes. He has also successfully managed interventions and large teams of consultants. He has had deep experience working with budgets, costing complex interventions and developing price models. He has worked across most of the major markets and sectors within the Southern African business arena. William is able to aptly add the value of his extensive experience and knowledge into his facilitating, consulting and course designing with PCG (Acres of Diamonds.)
William combines his unique strategic, practical, organizational and psychological and multi-cultural business experience to successfully facilitate training and development programs in the areas of Leadership and Management Development, Coaching and Mentoring, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Relation Skills, Personal Leadership and Assertiveness Skills, etc.
Before he started the Peterson Consulting Group (PCG) he worked for two great companies, BP SA (PTY) Ltd and Old Mutual plc (LSE: OML, JSE: OML) as a Consulting Organisational Psychologist. In this context he managed relationships with key internal clients across several major projects and human development interventions.
As a result of being an Organisational Consultant working for a major brand like Old Mutual, William has acquired unique experiences. His strength as a process consultant is well known. His organisational and development orientation which informs most of what he does in his organisational consulting interventions has a positive impact. His customer orientation has also allowed him to be fully present to listen to, understand and deliver on requests. His consulting and delivery style encapsulates his years of experience and academic discipline.
William has completed a qualification at UCT called Adult Learning in the Workplace. This knowledge has allowed him to really hone his ability to design and facilitate training and development courses and interventions. William works with his clients in a thought provoking, creative, empowering and dynamic way. His main focus is to see his clients happy and satisfied. He believes in the idea that every human being has infinite and untapped potential and his energies and consulting interventions are therefore always aimed at releasing these.

He also has deep competence in the designing and customising of training programmes.
